Shan’s 1993 Mazda RX7 Rocket Bunny with wide body kit was built by Diamond Auto Body and Tuner Galleria (of the Bay Area) as a show car for the 2014 SEMA show, in Las Vegas. Shan bought the car in July 2019. The way that came about was this:
Shan owns Specialty Towing and five years ago, he got a call from the original owner to tow the car, in its original stock condition, to Diamond Auto Body for the body conversion in preparation for the SEMA show. Shan showed great interest in what would turn out to be the finished product, and asked the owner to give him a call if he ever decided to sell it. Five years later, the owner did just that. That makes Shan only the second owner.
The car retains the original street port, or rotary engine, which has 124,000 original miles on it. It boasts 400 HP and original 5-speed transmission. Other features include racing red Bride seats, air suspension designed for speed bumps and or driveways, aircup/air ride suspension, sits on coil over racing suspension, ETS front mount intercooler (turbo), Devil Eye headlight kit, Miracle racing rear strut bar, Enker wheels, 3-inch turbo back exhaust, and FEED vented hood.
The car draws a lot of attention whenever he brings it out to our World Famous Cars and Coffee Folsom. It is a real crowd pleaser, as evidenced by the photos. Thank you, Shan for bringing this cutie out.
